Join us in September for a biweekly Lunch and Learn Series on various ways to use technology in natural resource management.
On September 1st, we will kick off the series with a session on effective online searching: how to get accurate and research based information to your questions.
On September 15th, we will continue the series with a session on the free online tool, NRCS Web Soil Survey. We will go over basics of the online tool and ways to use it to assist with land management.
On September 29th, we will end the limited series by going over the free platform iNaturalist. We will go over basics of how to use the platform and the ways that it can assist in land management.
This course will be offered in a hybrid format. In-person attendance is very limited. To secure your in person spot, call the Limestone County Extension Office at (256) 232-5510. Otherwise, use the registration link provided to attend virtually. You will receive a Zoom link upon registration that will work for all of the live sessions in this series.
